The college adopts the following admission procedures
1.Admission in TDC Semester - I for fresh students is made purely on merit basis. Those students duly passed in the TDC Even Semesters Examination will automatically qualify for admission in their respective Odd Semesters.
2.Admission forms along with Prospectus can be obtained from the office of the College on payment of Rs. 300/- during office hour.
3.Admission procedure is governed by the College admission rule. Principal’s decision is final in matters of admission.
4.Admission form should be submitted along with the following attested copies of documents within 23 days from the date of issue of forms failing which, the application will be automatically rejected.

5.(i)Admit Card of HS Exam (Attested copy)
(ii)Attested copy of Marks-sheet of last qualifying examination.
(iii)Attested copy of Caste Certificate (wherever required).
(iv)Original gap Certificate (if required).
(v)Original money receipt of the form purchased.
(vi)Two Copies of recent passport size Photograph.

6.Names of selected candidates will be displayed after scrutiny for admission. The date of admission will be informed during the time of issuing admission forms. Registration forms will be issued to admitted students after the admission is over. The filled up registration forms must be submitted within seven days from the date of admission. Students seeking admission in TDC 1st Semester must enclose a Photo-copy of HS registration Certificate.

Revised Credit & Grading System of Gauhati University

The Committee constituted to have a fresh look into the Credit and Grading system of Gauhati University, particularly in the undergraduate level, considered threadbare the existing system in three sittings and resolved to make the following recommendations to the University:
The Committee recommends that the present Relative Grading System be replaced with an Absolute Grading system at the undergraduate level based on the following:
(i) Revised Credit and Grading System of Gauhati University

(ii) Semester Grade Point Average(GPA)
